Amanda can be found cultivating her home garden, trying a new recipe, or hiking and exploring in her local mountains and the great parks in the US West / Mountain West with her family and dog.

Biography:

Amanda joined dsm-firmenich Venturing in 2024. Previously, Amanda was a Partner at Chicago-based investment firm Sandbox Industries, where she built and managed a portfolio of food and agriculture investments through its Cultivian Sandbox funds. And started her career at Cargill where she held strategy, product management and business development roles spanning the food ingredients, animal nutrition, grain origination and trading, salt, and energy sectors.

Amanda earned her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor degree in business from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management.
